This Too Shall Pass tells the spirited story of 16-year-old Simon, who, feeling stifled by his strict Mormon upbringing, rebels by embarking on a spontaneous weekend getaway to Canada with his close-knit group of friends. What begins as a carefree escape quickly evolves into a journey of self-discovery, as each friend confronts their personal struggles and insecurities.

The film is further enhanced by a nostalgic ’80s soundtrack featuring hits from iconic bands such as The Cure, New Order, Corey Hart, and The Jesus and Mary Chain. This musical backdrop helps to capture the essence of adolescence, exploring themes of friendship, rebellion, and the quest for self-discovery when the world feels overwhelmingly small.Written and directed by Rob Grant (Harpoon), with a story by Michael Simon Baker, “This Too Shall Pass” was produced by David Hiatt and Michael Peterson (Harpoon, Shadow Of God) for Peterson Polaris Corp.
