Robert Kesten, President/CEO of Fort Lauderdale’s Stonewall National Museum, Archives & Library and LGBTQ+ advocate renowned for his expertise, will be joining Legacy, a Florida based nonprofit organization for their LegacyTalk in Hollywood, Florida on June 19th (Juneteenth).
Kesten, who was recently hosted by Mayor Levine Cava in Miami Dade and Mayor DeanTrantalis of Fort Lauderdale at their respective PRIDE proclamation ceremonies. Stonewall National Museum’s 53+ year old legacy, combined with his own work over the years as a global human rights activist (including writing and producing an award winning documentary on the Holocaust at Concentration Camps in Poland, working on the Ghanaian Constitution, coordinating and producing leading to Ukrainian independence, pushing for the decriminalization of homosexuality in Ukraine, and much more), and how the Museum is fighting back everyday against oppression coming down from leaders in Washington.
