I have always heard about the Kama Sutra but never got around to checking it out. When I got a chance to see it through a queer-inclusive cowboy theme, I kind of had to. The book was amusing, inspiring, and spicy.

The book is a reproduction of the classic Indian manual on sexual positions. Still, it is translated to be very readable and includes illustrations for every position with a quirky Western motif. It includes a breakdown of steps on how to “saddle up” get to “ridin” and how to take it to the next level in a “giddy up” section. Then, it provides a little historical context for the original entry. I really liked how the beginning of the book clearly states that the book can be used for any partner you have regardless of gender or orientation (though some might require the assistance of toys.)

You should check it out. The book would make a great gift for bachelorettes, Valentine’s Day, white elephants, or just for a partner you want to explore some new paths with.
