AWARD-WINNING MSNBC JOURNALIST & MEDIA ICON JONATHAN CAPEHART HEADS TO STONEWALL NATIONAL MUSEUM FOR BOOK SIGNING, EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW
This June 16th, Florida’s Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library (SNMAL) is welcoming Pulitzer Prize-winning MSNBC and Washington Post journalist Jonathan Capehart for an evening of exploration as part of Capehart’s national book tour.
Set in the very center of a challenging Pride Month, Capehart’s visit will delve into experiences shared by many in and out of the LGBTQ+ community and covered in his recent memoir “Yet Here I Am: Lessons from a Black Man’s Search for Home”, including the struggle for acceptance, embracing one’s full identity, and the desire for connection in a world rife with bigotry.

He is and has been such a force in media these past few decades, he will be able to give us an insider’s view as to what is going on in DC,” stated Stonewall National Museum President and CEO Robert Kesten. “His story is one of mastering each and every facet of your life, no matter how much pushback comes your way. The Stonewall National Museum, Archives, & Library will be holding its 2nd Annual Stonewall Uprising Reenactment on June 28th and highly-anticipated, internationally-reaching 55 Years of Pride Exhibit, opening on June 1st.
