Review of Catagrams

In these times of trouble and strife for everybody, and especially those of us in the community, it is important to take a little time to unplug from the real world. So when I got the opportunity to check out a new game from Ponderosa Games, I figured, what the hell? Plus, anything with cats is always appreciated.
Catagrams is the first game from Tisa and John a pair of developers who gave up their corporate jobs to make something distinctively their own.
The game is one where you have to match letters to create words and interlock them to solve the puzzles. When you do so, you are rewarded not only with the satisfaction of figuring out the solution but also with original art.   The gameplay loop is fun, and you can customize the complexity and length of words involved, allowing you to pick how much brainpower you want to use every time you play.

I found it a great way to while away a couple of hours when I should be doing work, and I really enjoyed the illustrations. The game is free to download, and you can upgrade to the treat package, which gives you infinite play and access to hints.  The bonus thing is that they donate a portion of the treat package purchases   to a rotating group of  cat-focused organizations.

You can grab it for yourself on the APP store or at https://ponderosagames.com/games/catagrams/
