There are kinds of music that seem to find them when you need them, and I thought about that a lot when I got the chance to review the EP Deep in a Dream from Kylian.   Most music I listen to has a tendency to provoke feelings but the tracks on Deep in a Dream let sink more into the feelings I was having then direct them.  The minimalistic arrangement lets my mind experience all the crap happening to the community while having almost an afterthought an echo of hope.    This is best shown in the opening track where Kylian’s vocals are melodic but with just that edge that lets you know they have seen the bad side of life as well.

All in all, I enjoyed the album and was impressed it was debut performance and am looking forward to where they go from here.
